STEMlab 125-14 X-Channel System is designed for applications that require multi-channel RF signal acquisition and generation.  

It enables the user to stream analog and digital signals from/to the client’s PC. 

X-Channel System consists of multiple STEMlab 125-14 devices that are modified and comes with synchronization cables and software that supports multi-channel streaming of RF analog and digital, input and output signals from/to client PC. 

What is in the box: 

– One Red Pitaya STEMlab 125-14 Low Noise (MASTER device) 

– One or more** Red Pitaya STEMlab 125-14 Low Noise SLAVE devices that come with SATA synchronization cable 

– Each device in the kit comes with its own: 

  • SD card (16GB, class 10) 
  • Ethernet cable (1m) 
  • Power supply (5V, 2A)

Product description

STEMlab 125-14 X-Channel System consists of multiple Red Pitaya STEMlab 125-14 devices (one MASTER and one or multiple SLAVEs), that are synchronized using SATA cables and software that supports multi-channel RF signal acquisition and generation. 

MASTER STEMlab 125-14 provides clock and triggers to SLAVE STEMlab 125-14 devices over SATA cable. With each added STEMlab 125-14 SLAVE device system gains two additional RF inputs and two additional RF outputs. 

X-Channel streaming software provides the ability to stream RF analog and digital input and output signals from/to client PC and configure it completely remotely.

Regardless of the fact that Red Pitaya STEM boards are mainly intended for usage as affordable pocket size multi-instrument devices, due to the OPEN SOURCE nature of the Red Pitaya STEM boards software*, you may also use them as: DSP development boards, DAQ cards, FPGA development boards, Customizable T&M lab instruments.

Users can easily develop their own WEB application by modifying the existing ones or by writing them from scratch. Complete instructions are available, describing all steps and algorithms. If you are only interested in the development in the areas of DSP, the APIs enabling the writing of the algorithms in the C programming language and running them on Red Pitaya STEM boards are available. FPGA development is also possible on the Red Pitaya STEM boards using the free of charge Xilinx Vivado development tools and instructions provided by Red Pitaya.
